M. Israk Ahmed is a computer science(M.Sc) student at Memorial University of Newfoundland. In 2021, he graduated from Daffodil International University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering. Deep Learning and computer vision are the areas in which Israk is most interested. He is eager to investigate and use cutting-edge methods in these fields to address contemporary issues. He is currently working on an underwater object recognition project. His project aims to develop a real-time lightweight detection model for a certain species in the underwater environment for potential inclusion into remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).
