Priyank Narvekar was born in Mumbai, India, and moved to St. John’s, Newfoundland to attend Memorial University. He recieved his B.Eng. in Computer Engineering in 2013. He has been working as a Software Engineer at IBM Canada for the past 10 years. In 2016, Priyank started his MBA to further develop the skills of project management, creative problem solving and collaborative team working. He is currently pursuing his second Masters degree in Computer Science with a focus on autonomous robotics. His thesis work focuses on non-prehensile transportation and assembly of polygonal objects in a plane into a desired pattern using a swarm of simple robots.

His interests include dogs - all of them, travelling (11 countries so far and counting), hiking and camping, playing (not watching) sports - currently learning ultimate frisbee, binge watching netflix and long drives.
